Window Walkabout brings art behind the screens
Window Walkabout is the largest art event ever in the Tampere Region, where windows in the city centre serve as the stage for the audience on the streets.
As the opening event of the Tampere Festival of Light, it will brighten the dark autumn with a surprising set of beautifully lighted windows starting from 24 October. All of Tampere’s 60 windows will be on display from Thursday to Saturday 24-26 October from 18-21. After this, 40 windows, which do not feature performers, can be viewed in Tampere until 3 November.
